Artistic Director Péter Csaba received the Legion d'honneur


MÁV Symphony Orchestra's Artistic Director and Chief Conductor Péter Csaba received the prestigeous award Legion of Honour by the French Republic on the 1st January 2017. Péter Csaba became "the Knight of Arts and Literature" for spreading the French culture and music around the world.

Great success at the International Conducting Course


The 4th International Conducting Course in Budapest ended with a remarkable success, said Ilona Meskó, head of the competition. The winner became a young Russian talent, Anton became Shaburov, who conducted Dvořák's Symphony No. 8 with the MÁV Symphony Orchestra at the gala concert.
