On the afternoon of December 10, the garden of our orchestra’s headquarters was enriched with another commemorative tree. Following conductors Charles Dutoit and Ken-Ichiro Kobayashi, this time violinist Maxim Vengerov planted a birch tree to commemorate our unforgettable joint concerts, for both us and our visitors.
At the intimate ceremony, the world-renowned artist was praised by György Lendvai, director of our orchestra, who expressed his gratitude for the extraordinary musical experience that Vengerov’s playing brings to audiences around the world.
We warmly invite our audience to our concert “The Virtuoso of the Violin” on December 11 at 7:30 PM at Müpa Budapest, conducted by Gábor Takács-Nagy and featuring Maxim Vengerov.
