On 3 July, Budapest will host a special free concert presented as part of a unique international collaboration between American and Hungarian musicians, featuring the MÁV Symphony Orchestra. The programme will also be performed in Vienna on 6 July.
The concert will be conducted by Jim Taylor, Professor of Music and Director of Fine Arts at LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas. He will lead an ensemble of musicians and singers from across the United States, joined by the award-winning Prelude Choir of Budapest and the MÁV Symphony Orchestra. The programme features beloved classical masterworks alongside a brand-new setting of the Nicene Creed, composed to commemorate the 1,700th anniversary of the First Council of Nicaea.
