Mother Earth

Fazıl Say is a pianist with a unique voice whose repertoire—ranging from Bach to Gershwin to his own compositions—has dazzled audiences in prestigious concert halls around the world. He is a prolific composer whose oeuvre is an exciting synthesis of classical music, jazz and Turkish folk music – both virtuosic and deeply personal. His latest piano concerto, Mother Earth, premiered at the Osaka World Expo in May this year, also aims to embrace the whole world.
