Péter Csaba, the permanent guest conductor of the MÁV Symphony Orchestra, received the Medal of Honour of the Reina Sofía School of Music on June 20.
The Medal of Honour of the Reina Sofía School of Music was presented to the artist in Madrid by Queen Sofia of Spain herself. The award was given to Péter Csaba for, among other things, the organisation and artistic direction of the "Encuentro de Musica y Académia“ event in Santander, an initiative that gives tomorrow’s up-and-coming talents the opportunity to work with great international masters for a month and present their joint productions at the end of the process. Péter Csaba was also honoured for his conducting contribution to the Albeniz Foundation, a non-profit organisation whose mission is to promote music, music education and support young musicians.
Congratulations to Péter Csaba for this wonderful recognition!
